According to the "rules", I planted my garden approximately 6 weeks late. I was hesitant to plant at all considering I didn't want to be disappointed with nothing growing due to the scorching heat. However, at the last minute I thought to myself, "I loved gardening over the winter, Ezra loved picking the spinach leaves, digging up carrots, and playing in the dirt...we have to do this!"
So, on Mother's Day I sowed the seeds...and after just one week, our garden beds now look like this!!
