My theory is that after being pregnant, moms forget what a "normal waist" is on jeans...and well, they just opt for a little too high. I mean, compared to the 13" maternity waist band, a 9" zipper is nothing! :) (please note though, you have every right to stop me from the denim applique vest).

well, i guess then i was in style way before my time. i was wearing mom jeans like 15 years ago. unfortunately now i just like the low-cut jeans with post-pregancy muffin top.
